Heading to Hull?
Campbell came on as a substitute as United won the Community Shield and then, due to injuries and absentees, started the Premier League opener against the Barcodes.
He's a terrific prospect for the future and played a leading role in Hull's promotion to the top-flight last season netting 14 league goals from 35 appearances.
Tigers boss Phil Brown is desperate to bring Campbell back to the Circle; but with United short in attack and Campbell showing bags of goalscoring ability last season, Sir Alex Ferguson suggested the player would be going nowhere.
"I'm trying to get another start at Manchester United and as many starts as I can." said the youngster.
However, when questioned on a potential return to Hull he said: "Why not? We will just have to wait and see what happens."
Ferguson traditionally likes to operate with four strikers. As it stands, Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez are his main frontmen - with Campbell and Louis Saha in reserve.
A potential return to Kingston-upon-Hull could depend on whether United land a new striker before the transfer window closes and whether Sir Alex decides to keep injury-prone Saha at the club.
Would you like to see Campbell go back to Hull or is he too useful to lose for another season?
